Sunup to sundown, the Oakhurst Community Garden is open to all, free of charge.

The Garden is located at 435 Oakview Road, at the corner of South McDonough Street and Oakview Road in Decatur, just southwest of Agnes Scott College.

When you visit the Garden please keep the following in mind:

  • No unsupervised children
  • Dogs must be on-leash at all times
  • Please do not pick flowers or produce from the plots unless otherwise posted.
  • The Garden is wheelchair accessible except during periods of extreme weather.

Organized group events at the Oakhurst Community Garden Project

All are welcome at the Oakhurst Community Garden Project. However, if you are an organization or individual bringing 10 or more people to the Oakhurst Garden,please contact us in advance to make sure that there is not a previously scheduled event that may conflict. A rental fee may be applicable. Please contact Stephanie at director@oakhurstgarden.org or call (678) 642-4977.

If you are interested in planning a field trip led by our Youth Programs Manager, please contact Kyla at ocgp@bellsouth.net or (404) 371-1920. Field trip fees do apply. At this time, we are not hosting weddings or receptions at the Garden.
